At KindMind Pediatric Evaluations, we believe the evaluation process should feel supportive, personalized, and easy to understand. Our goal is to help families find answers while taking the time to understand each child's unique strengths, challenges, and needs.

Getting started is simple! Contact us by phone, text, email, or through our website to share your concerns and learn more about our services. We'll help determine which type of evaluation best fits your needs, discuss pricing and availability, and schedule your first appointment.

We typically complete our first appointment virtually, making it convenient for families to get started from home.

During this visit, we'll discuss your child's developmental, medical, educational, social-emotional, and behavioral history. We'll discuss your concerns, your child's strengths, and what you hope to better understand through the evaluation.

You'll also complete intake questionnaires, and we may review previous evaluations, school records, IEPs, or other relevant documents. With your permission, we may gather additional information from teachers or other providers.

This is when we get to know your child!

Your child will participate in assessments carefully selected based on their age, developmental level, and specific concerns. Depending on the evaluation, testing may explore cognitive abilities, academic skills, attention, executive functioning, social communication, emotional functioning, adaptive behavior, or other areas of development.

We understand that every child is different. Testing is individualized, flexible, and play-based when appropriate, with breaks and accommodations provided as needed.

Following testing, we carefully score and interpret the results, consider information from multiple sources, and prepare a comprehensive written report. Additional testing appointments may occasionally be necessary.

This is where we put all the pieces together.

We'll meet with you to review the evaluation findings, explain any diagnoses when applicable, and discuss your child's unique strengths and areas where additional support may be helpful.

You'll receive a comprehensive written report with individualized recommendations for home, school, and other services as appropriate.

Most importantly, we want you to leave this appointment understanding the results, feeling comfortable asking questions, and knowing what steps you can take moving forward.

Our relationship doesn't have to end when testing is complete. KindMind also offers parent coaching, behavioral consultation, educational resources, and additional support to help families navigate recommendations and advocate for their child's needs.

Our goal isn't just to provide answers. It's to help families understand what those answers mean and how to use them to make a meaningful difference in their child's life.
